Howdy Mr. Cob.....

Lovely rig...finally a proper paint scheme. Noticed that you've been all over the USA by the decals, especially the West and the East is empty. Make sure that you visit us Easteners ...to complement the whole USA map!

Send ya a PM....

Howdy Elmer, did I get your name right this time?

I need to update and fill in the map, the map as it is now shows the States visited with the Beemer itself, since then ( I pretty much stopped riding the Beemer in 2005 when I bought the Ural ) I have ridden in all of the States that are now blank on the map. Having now ridden in the extreme southeast I can say its to hot, to humid, having now ridden in the extreme northeast I can say theres way to many people there for one of my temperament, I'll continue to do the majority of my riding out west.

If you think about seeing FL, know that you have a bunk here.
But you must like dogs.

Howdy Dennis,

Yes, this rig really does round out my stable. The Road King Classic "Clyde", for long haul solo riding or touring. The R1 "Lucile", for those times when I just have to have an adrenalin fix RIGHT NOW. The DRZ400S "Yeller thing", for normal dual sport riding. The stock Gear-Up "Canyon Acrobat", for normal Ural riding. The modified Ural "Predator", for when the stock Ural can't do the INSANE type of Ural-a-ling I so enjoy. And now the hacked GS "Gertrude", for the long haul trips in any kind of weather touring. Oh and then theres the old Brit bike "Lucas" for when I really need something to cuss at when the lights go out. Yes I think the stable is now complete.

The stable is never full.
There is always room for just one more.
Like a classic cafe bike with a steib for coffee on Sundays.

Looking good Dave, hope to get some riding in with you in Idaho next year. I am planning on hitting Alaska on the way to the U.S.C.A. National in Idaho so I will probably be dropping in through Kamloops into Washington and over to Coeur d' Alene via Grand Coulee and maybe we can hook up if you are going to Coeur d' Alene.

Howdy Dana,

If it works out it'll be great to meet up and ride with you next year, keep in touch, lets make it happen.
