I don't know about the Tenere, but the Super Tenere can handle it quite well ;-)

Goin’ ta California
Alegany and me took a little road trip last Sunday…some captivating sights along this route. Led Zeppelin acoustically tags along.

What seat do you have on your bike? is it lower than the original?

They are made in France..Can't remember the name.
It was on a demo bike in the showroom and I had the sales guy include the seat in the deal. Having ridden my bike stock and with the custom seat, I think the seat heights are very similar. If you have more interest I can get more info on the seat. BR |

First time I've seen somebody's Tenere equipped with Gobi cases. How do you like them?

Gobi's work fine for me. Fits on the H&B mounts for the S10 nicely.
Some might feel they make the S10 look a little wide in the hips but I lane split all over Europe with no worries. I had them on another bike(KTM) so I threw them on the S10 when I bought it. Cheers |

I think I will eventually buy a lower seat, maybe the Yamaha. I visited Adventure Riders Warehouse and all I see is exhausts, no carbon piece, I think I will just paint mine black in the Spring

Not even a close call. I would ride there any time with my Tenere. I just told my son today that next time we go there we need to find some challenging trails.
