We still have a decent drive ahead of us and a border crossing. Its only the bikes that have a marathon day, the rest of us (support, cars and trucks) all camp at the next bivouac. It will be nice not having to unpack the tools, beches, easyup, Neds stuff, etc.
Ps...."Team Girlfriend", not "Neds Girlfriend" ![]() Kinda cool having a slow start as we're normally up and at it quite early. Went back to bed after Ned left which was a novelty Cool watching all the cars and trucks leave as well. The trucks are very badass and would make a bitching commuter vehicle

I haven't seen anything about timing but with all the river crossing drama, were any timing adjustments made or is that just for being first to OTB in the mud?

No...I guess they figured that bike lost enough time anyway so they let him off the hook with just an apology. Moral of the story...stay out of the way of the leaders!...esp if they happen to be French.

How fast is Ned travelling in the desert anyway?
I saw a hummer doing 195 kmh on sand down a mountain in the highlights video. Quite impressive and a lot faster than I imagined.

Isn't the phrase "little cock of French" redundant?
