Probably, Hondaline sold a Kenwood made AM/FM stereo system with handlebar mounted wired remote in the mid 80's for the Elites and Helixes. I had one on my '87 Elite 150, wish I took that stereo system off before I sold that scoot. That flexible antenna on that green Helix was not the original one that came with the Hondaline stereo though. The original antenna was a manual telescopic one that often broke because passengers kicking them while getting on or off the backseat. |

The Radio
The Helix does have a radio, the hardware is in the trunk and the controls are mounted on the handle bars. The speaker are mounted in the dash. It worked well below the speed where wind noise became a factor 35 mph. I could crank it up but you would just become a rolling getteo blaster.
