ICS struggles
Quote:
I think these are the buttons you are talking about: ![]() And these are the buttons I have: ![]() Does that make sense? This is my first Android device, so the buttons you mentioned didn't make sense to me..lol When the app's map is displayed, the only buttons on the screen are the three you see in the above picture; Back, Home, and Recent Apps. They seriously got rid of the menu button?? I've got no good ideas off the top of my head. I'll need to do a little more research and get back to you. This must be driving LOTS of developers crazy.

Lol....I can now see the difficulty developing apps to span multiple phones and OS's. Seems Apple app development would be much easier in that respect.

Can you post a screen shot of your phone with the map screen on please. I need to get the lay of the land. As far as I know this is the only device with this issue at present.

I will do that. Let me figure out how to capture a screen shot first.

A digital camera is the easy way. From your home screen, how do you get to system settings?

There is a 'Widnow Pane' that you can 'pull down' from any screen. (I couldn't capture a screenshot).

Nexus Settings
After pulling down the window pane, it looks like this:
![]() You can also place a widget shortcut to access the Settings. Steve

I see that on my phone now. That won't help us unfortunately. I'm going to have to add a button to the UI for HC and ICS phones I suppose. I'm sorry I didn't know about this in advance. I'm sure that software has been a let down as a result. I'll get out an updated version tomorrow. Thanks for your patience!
I've been busy working on printing maps from the website today, and I will have some good news about that soon as well. |

I've written a patch. I'm going to sleep on it and test it up in the morning. That new icon in the upper right corner is the same as the menu key. Click it and all the map features will become apparent.

App Update Released: 0.2.08
This version's only change is the soft menu button I put in the upper right corner of the map screen. I moved the progress bar to the right middle of the screen.
