First one was a 47 ford four door ---6 months of broken bolts & busted knuckles still had a pile of junk
--but learned alot about how to finesse a rusted head off a rusted bloc, what works & what don't & how to cusses like like a sailor --Dad was proud of me at 14

THis is awesome. I already have plans for my son's first car. He is only 2.5 though, and by the time he is ready to drive. All the cars I have been looking at will be too out of date.

Now is the perfect time to paint it. Pop all the fixed glass out, strip out the remaining boots, grommets, and brackets, clean up all the pinch welds, de-ding it, then sand, prime, and paint. No masking required, and no tape edges in the paint or clearcoat.
