Project 'beo

The looks just agree with me. I pulled the trigger and bought SikDmax's project 150. Hope I can get it running without alot of intense work. Delivery day and SikDmax has got a nice recovery vehicle!

The drop down holds his ramp.

Wish me luck.

Good luck with that 'Beo. Did you get the rest of it, like in plastics?

I got a nice stable of bikes, but for a quick local ride; my Scarabeo really puts a smile on my face.

Thanks guys. Yep, got all the plastics. I could use a service manual if anyone knows of one floating around. Are the mirrors standard 10mm ones? I'm sure I'll have alot of other questions.

Well, looks like really bad news.

Anybody have a good engine laying around?

Guess I should not buy sight unseen. Oh well, have gotten lucky in the past. Looks like it may be an ebay scoot. Too bad as it's a pretty clean bike.

If I were to hazard a guess, I would have to say it was killed through lack of maintenance...

The engine is rebuildable though; looks like a complete head, cylinder, piston, and crank assembly. Hey, I never said it would be cheap!

I'll be checking on prices for these, will update as it happens. Some hopping up isn't out of the question either.

Took the cylinder off yesterday, wow!

I only took a quick look into the carb and didn't notice the carb slide missing.

Holy shit!

WTF happened to that thing?

I'd say it ain't worth even trying unless you can find a decent used engine.

That's the plan. A new engine from Scuderia is close to $1700. May as well get another one for that. I think a used one will be cheaper than getting all the parts to get this one running.

Thats not tooo bad. A little more than its worth though I think.

But, if you can find a decent priced used engine, why not? I here this is a pretty good scooter, can do 70-75 MPH I here.
