The lights are still very reasonably priced at regular price.
Brian, could you tell us more about the mm20 spots? Maybe get some pictures? |

Super Tenere Install
A local rider recently bought a pair of the MM12 Aux lights for his Super Tenere.
The bikes owner made a couple small brackets that bolted onto exsisting holes on the bike and that the lights mounted up to these brackets. A few adjustments to allow the forks to clear at full lock both ways and the rest is history. Super easy install (thanks Howie) ![]() ![]() Also, as of today (02/06/12) the MM12's are back in stock and ready to ship. MondoMotos - MM12AUX Thanks, -Brian

MM12 and MM01DRL
Fellow ADV'r Eddy Alvarez sent me this pic of his GS with the MM12AUX and MM01DRL lights.
MM12AUX is up top and the MM01DRL's are in below mounted to the engine guard. ![]() The pic gives a good idea of how the lights compare to one another. Thanks Eddy ![]() (just a note that we will be visting the west coast to do some riding for the next 6-7 days. you can still place an order thru the website and I will be checking and replying to emails and pm's, but we wont be able to resume shipping until after the 15th). Thanks, -Brian

Non-compensated endorsement!
For you folks sitting on the fence, let me just say that that these lights are great! They are well built, very reasonably priced and will make you obnoxiously noticable to any distracted cager thinking of pulling out into your path day or night! I have mine paired up with the Photon Blasters and the DRL's. My neighbor who rides a cruiser (and doesn't understand why anyone would used additional lighting or SOLAS tape) says that it looks like a UFO is coming up the street when I am on my way home. I wish Brian made a 3" amber LED that I could place above my tank guards (hint hint!) I am going to send Brian a couple of more pictures to include "before and after" so that you can see the difference. I love how it lights up the distant edges of the road so that I can see Bambi's eyes in time to slow down considerably!

Very fast service and good follow up by Brian. Quality product and BRIGHT.
I copied hmmwv15's placement but used a different mount. These are mocked up only and not at their final angle, etc. I "fired 'em up" for a short period - they'll be more than enough. Some may think it's overkill but I plan on doing some night rides off road so I'll put these to good use. Also working out a quick disconnect on wiring and mounts so I can swap 'em between the DR and the Strom. ![]() Sorry for the odd backdrop but didn't feel like dragging the bike out for the pic. It's tucked in between my Strom and son's DR. The mounts I used are from http://www.vee-strom.com/blog/parts/...v-strom-parts/ Richland Rick. They have a 3 hole version (spot, mount to mirror hole, Ram ball) I put Ram ball mounts in one hole and used the other for the spots. They mounted up to the DR mirror holes with supplied hardware. I use the Ram balls to mount my Double Take mirrors - http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=571500 I also bought a set of mounts for the Strom but just using them for mirror extenders and Ram mount bases for accessories. I'll probably mount the spots similar to the Beemer pictured on this thread. Thanks again Brian for a good product at a fair price...& great service.

TrophyHunter -
Thanks for taking the time to post your feedback about the lights. I sent you a PM about an option for the electrical disconnects. We use these on our Pre-wired lights. Waterproof and easy to connect/disconnect. Thanks again, -Brian

Great Lights Awesome Service
I just ordered these lights like 3-4 days ago. They were waiting on my porch when I got home from work today! I gave them a bench test, and WOW, are they bright. Compared to the PIAA's on the bike now, they are at least as bright, but the voltage drop across them is less (from a 12V source), hence, less current draw. The BMW F650GS single doesn't have much in the way of extra current to play with, that's why I got these. Now I can run my heated vest and heated gloves AND the lights.
Thanks MondoMotos! Cheers, Bill 2001 BMW F650GS |
