1970 Bonneville Engine & Frame - How much is it worth?

I've got a chance at a 1970 Bonneville frame and engine-- titled, matching numbers.
Looking at pictures of it, both look to be in decent shape, with everything intact. Owner says it's in good shape, although I haven't gotten a chance to check it out yet. Although, just assuming everything's in order, what's a reasonable offer to make for it?

He wants you to price it for him. It's easier to start low and go up. Basically, you're buying a frame and an unknown condition engine. If the frame's complete with the rear subframe and swing arm, I'd maybe start around $200.

I bought some Triumphs through the years.
1. A '67 TR6r not running with the front end bent back so far the tire would hit the down tube if you touched the brake. No title. $250.00 in 1979.
2. A '66 Bonneville in a basket, sub- frame chopped about and bolted to the swingarm and frame to make it a hardtail. Extended forks, no tank. $200.00 in 1985.
3. '62 Bonneville complete running bike only mildly modified. $600. 1986 . Every time I see the guy I bought it from he asks to buy it back. I'm not selling.
Of course, none of this info is very relivant in the 21st century. Triumphs are hot and prices are up.
A friend has a set of five perfectly restored Triumph Bonneville TT's that he's been showing for a couple of years. They're featured on the 2012 Triumh calender. He's taking them to the Quail show this spring and has a deal with a guy there to sell them for $250,000 for the lot.
