steel rear sub frame
For those that might be thinking about upgrading the aluminium rear sub frame to steel, there is a possible group buy going on right now in the oilhead boxers forum, this is a great opportunity if you plan on keeping your bike because sooner or later because of age and or vibration or even a small tip over that rear sub frame is going to bend or break especially if you carry a passenger or camping gear on the rear.

The frame that holds the tail light assembly and the rear rack is made of aluminium and is pron to crack are bend very easily, it will not support much weight.

Thanks, I tend to travel light, and never off road, so I'm guessing the MM is ok, it's more an Endure issue?

I have both an Enduro and a Mega Moto and it is equally an issue with both bikes, but you are correct it should be no problem if you are not carrying anything on the rear of the bike behind the seat.

Tires!!!
I've ran with Bridgestone BT002s and BT016 on my MegaMoto. My tires are cooked again and I need to replace them. What tires are you guys using? My riding is in 99% dry (hot) weather conditions. Thanks

I just put a set of these on my HP2 Sport. I've done around 400 miles on them, but I like them so far.

There's a really good deal on some Michelin tires (forgot which ones) for 215 delivered. Anyone have any experience with Michelin tires? Thanks again! I'm going to look up the tires that were suggested.

Tyres
I am using Michelin Pilot Power Pures, fantastic grip, faster steering and in my opinion they suit the MM very well.
