I don't have any premium tanks and I'd say I average at least 1 game a night where I'm top tier and several where I'm top 5. It happens about as often as I'm bottom or bottom 5. My M7(t5) and E8(t6) are maxed out and I have a lot of exp in them.
My t-20(t7) isn't yet, but it's pretty close. My theory is that the premium tanks are on top more because they get played more. I've found the time of day seems to make a difference. Earlier in the day I think there are more lower tier tanks playing so I get stuck at the top. As the night goes on the heavy hitters come out to play and I get the crap kicked out of me. The Matchmaker has to work with what is available since there are no bots. On a slightly unrelated note... I was just looking around in the forum and discovered that if the MM can't find a match for you in 5 min, it gives up and just throws what's available into a match, resulting in small unbalanced matches. i.e. a 4 on 4 battle with heavies on one side and lights on the other. |

I had a great match earlier, running my little SU-26, lowest ranked tank in the field. Killed more than anyone else, the first two blind on a known course with known hiding spots. The other team started cursing me out, it was a riot.

That's fun, but the thing I find most fun playing arty is hitting a hyper fast tank while it's on the move for a one shot kill.....doesn't happen very often, so that makes it that much sweeter when it does.

I've started the French medium line. Got tired of those 12t's and 13's running circles around me. The T-50 isn't near the tank the 12t is and while not in the same tier I've lined up against them plenty.
Got rid of the M37, just not gelling right now... Keeping the KV in the garage, hoping for the split... I find I'm playing tier 1-3 tanks more often. The MM seems more even and I can kill some noobs that don't know the maps.

Had a fantastic round in Himmelsdorf with the Tetrarch, found a ramp in the main square, and sniped 5 tanks with it that had no idea where I was coming from.
Then proceeded to get my ass kicked for the next 3 rounds, but hey, that's game balance, right?

Stug with the big 75 is where its at. nailing fast tanks across a field with one hit sure is fun. Hardest part is waiting for the enemy to come to you like a spider.

I decided to try my hand at the french light tanks. I had almost enough free exp to make it to the AMX 40 so I bought an AMX 38 figuring I build up the difference. What a slow POS that one is. I think I'll just wait for my free exp to build up instead of wasting my time with it.
I'm also pretty close to having the credits to buy a M36 Slugger so I may be doing the TD thing soon. I'm liking the T20, but it's expensive to fix when I die. Not a good combo when you are grinding for credits. |

I have a amx40, what a horrible piece of crap it is too, i feel terrible when i see some poor person with one of those.
Got to admit they take a beating, if only they were fast enough to make use of that fact, once they are seen they die pretty quickly because they simply can't get out of the way! I may sell the 40 and get the free xp for the next amx up. I have a thing for Russian tanks, t-26, t-48 and t-28 all at elite, working on the su line now, on a su-85b and working towards a 85.

I did the arty grind this weekend to get the M41 available to buy. This week's project is to finish the slugger grind (over halfway there already) and then???? Still trying to decide what path I want to grind on the tank lines.
Now I just wish they would put garage slots on sale so I could pick up a couple more.

I haven't had a chance to get on very much. Still liking the M7 Priest. Heck of a money maker too.
Almost ready to get an M3 Lee in the tank lines. Wish I could skip it ![]() I still like hopping in the Tetrarch for a quick romp too. |

Anyone playing on a laptop? I've been eyeballing a few but the GPU model number games are as bad as desktops.
