I don't se why not either
If you have some pics of how the stock fairing is attached and the electrical connector, we can look into providing a PnP solution.

Is it possible to stand the faring up a little more?
It may not be, but it looks like it might be in your face when ducking or going up hill etc. I have barked my nose on a shield while ducking under a limb and would rather not do it again.

When I get some time to remove the stock fairing and take pics and measurements I will post up on the XR650L.

It is very similiar. It has one bolt on each side and two poles or prongs at the bottom that go into rubber grommets to hold in the bottom.

Interested in this as well. How clean is the airflow for the rider during highway/freeway speeds?

There are a lot of variables that influence the airflow. I'm a bit over 6', with the current setup on the husky the airflow is very clean, it hits me on the chin at 60mph (Husky doesn't like going much faster). Absolutely no buffeting, I am shocked at how clean the airflow is coming off the fairing.

I'm in too. 500EXC just like Harcus, so just give us the word when the sales start. Had your fog lights on my Tiger. Lit up street signs a half mile down the road and 100 yards off to each side.
