Does anybody really know why Mitas USA don't want to sell us tires?
I was ready to buy the E-07 but shipping was $50.00 from Canada. Not worth it. and the mitasmx site don't even work anymore, all it shows is closeout Trelleborg tires no matter what you click on. Even if you try to buy one of the tires shown, click on add to cart and it just comes back to the same page. I might be interested in some Trelleborg MX tires, but the links don't work. I did call Mitas USA some time ago and asked why they don't sell the E07. It was hard to understand him but I think he said something abut DOT and being sued or something. They really need to sign up someone that really can sell tires like Revzilla and motorcycle-superstore. The sales volume would increase many times over.

I may sound like a broken record adding to the foray but my customer service but my phone calls to the company mirror other peoples.
Tow pro has the idea...run them through an outlet like Revzilla or Motorcycle Superstore. We are a pretty self sufficient community. All we really need is: a) a place to order stock b) a responsive person to contact when we have issues with the product and questions about availability that will -> provide us with actual answers to our questions and treat us like the valued customers we are. c) a distributor that isn't going to rake us over the coals on prices and shipping charges. (Only way I'll pay the shipping charges from Canada is for a bulk order). That's customer service 101. I'm not really sure why it's so difficult for some companies to implement that model. If it were my company I'd fire the dead weight that was responsible for creating the situations that lead to the negative press then ensure that I had a business plan in place that covers the entire breadth of product marketing, sales, and delivery. If a company can't get it together they should hire a marketing/sales firm to do it for them and bite the bullet on paying the cost of outsourcing those services. Revzilla is great -> reputable ->EXCELLENT customer service. As a launching platform to fill in while Mitas figures out how to organize so that it can get product to customers, Revzilla would be perfect intermediary between the customer and the tires. The question that Mitas needs to ask itself is really basic -> Does Mitas want to sell M/C tires or don't they? If the answer is that they don't then great, all is fine because that's how things stand. If the answer to that question is that they do in fact want to sell M/C tires to the U.S. market then Mitas needs to change how the M/C line is handled. hopefully they will stay distributes, hand sales off to major resellers and then sit back and watch the cash flow.

@all....
please allow me to thank you for your patience. @fluff34567 : Click ... source: reifen-vor-Ort-de In Europe , especially in Germany ,the distribution is "state of the art" In general ,... EVERY tyre dealer is able to order E-10 from the "big 5" in Germany. ( if a dealer won΄t believe in the that ... show him this side from one of distributors They also are able to provide you the approvals ( for bikes registered in Germany ) as a print out... |

Where to buy dakar E09?
the mitasmx.com site doesn't work. You can't put anything into a cart to order.

AT $50.00 shipping per tire, my only option was to give my money to a different manufacture

I feel the same way when I buy stuff on your side of the border.
![]() I just bought 3 E-09 Dakar versions for my F800 from mx1canada. They are great to deal with, and the tires were delivered in a few days. I love the tire, especially for the price.
