Sorry, can't oblige with a sarcastic, witty comment, old goat.....I gave up verbally spit-balling those geriatric riders that are my seniors for lent.

Hey! I went for a ride today!

Hit the HD dealer to drool on the XR1200:

Still needs high pipes, but other than that it's a sweeeeet ride

My apologies to whomever buys the XR1200 in the showroom there for my junk smell and drool all over your bike.

Buy that bike! I'm a big fan of Sportsters. Owned one for over 13 years now. Taken long trips on it, back road weekenders...ect. I'm still not bored with it. It's been the easiest bike to live with that I've ever owned. Total grin fest every time I ride it. Mine is a '99'. This one is better. Better brakes, suspension, and ergonomics. It shoud even be faster. This is the bike that all the sport oriented Sportster fans wanted. Harley listened and delivered. Mortgage the house, cash in the 401, sell the little girl, what ever it takes! You owe it to yourself, You deserve it. You know you want it. It's calling to you. Just do it.

I'd be interested to know too. A friend told me that you have to secure a bond now. Also said there was a change in titling home made trailers.

Must be a recent change. I applied for a title for the DT400 last year. Filled out a short one page form with VIN#, signed the bottom, handed it to the nice lady and, Botta-Bing, title in the mail. Easy peasy. Sometimes change is not good.

I'ev filled out a form, took another form and the vehicle to an LEO who verified the VIN and completed their portion of the form. Then back to the DMV with the completed forms and that was pretty much it. A guy came in the shop last night and was saying something about a bond worth 3x's the vehicles value and a bunch of other changes. Can't find anything online about it though. ????

I've never heard of this, but it doesn't surprise me.

I did find this form, but its only supposed to be for vehicles 6 years or newer valued at $2500 or more.

Kinda sounds like what they do if you are trying to import one into the US.
