One more day in Puebla , just can't get enough of this city and its food

This morning , on the good advice of LDCMEX (Gracias!) I went out to Cholula , nice little town with a hundred churches .
So far I took a few hundred pics in Puebla , hopefully soon I will get some tieme to sort them out and post a few .

In Puebla there is food just everywhere

BTW The hotel I stayed in here in Puebla is the Hotel Del Paseo , on 5 Av Poniente between 9 and 11 Calle sur
Clean rooms, great WiFi, save parking , friendly staff , Oxxo half a block away and only 3 blocks from the Zocalo.
The first night is 290$ , and every following night get 20$ cheaper

Ok , here I am now in the big city . It's been 6 years since my last time here , and it has changed quiet a bit .
Anyway , here I am sorting out my pictures from the last days

One of the many things about Puebla that I liked a lot , are all the beautifull wooden gates and doors

exito en tu viaje se ve muy bonito!!! si llegas a pasar por Ensenada, BAJA (y realmente recomiendo BAJA) avisame y saldremos a pasear!

Para llegar akí toma el ferry en Mazatlan y amanecerás en La PAz y tendras toda la Baja para explorar!!! por tierra o por carretera, a ambos les gustaran las playas ke hay por aca!!!

Yesterday I got to the city and today I'm sick (bronquitis)...we country boys should stay away from the big cities

That gives me time to finish organizing my pics , and her goe a few more from Puebla
















With so much to see in this city , no wonder that these guys are here as well






And if you look inside the houses , you will find treasures like these

Next morning we went to Cholula , just outside of Puebla .
It is famous for its big pyramide : It looks more like a big hill , especially since a church has beeb built on top of it .






From up ther you get a great view of the Popocatepetl






and also of the Mujer Dormida






Cholula is also famous for having 365 churches , one for every day of the year






But even with so many churches in town, this guy didn't feel safe enough to leave his bike outside

when are coming up? july? hot weather does not start until June, and by them I think you will be up in Canada or Alaska, April-May are the best months to come!!!

On my way down in October probably I will be on the west coast , on my way up I was planing to stay away from the coast and go through the National Parks. And hot weather are pretty flexible terms , for me coming from the mountains it probably means something different then for you , being a Baja guy
