Here it is on transport. The engine wouldn't start during a emtpy battery.



After a while with a jump start it run like a new machine but it shure needs some work.
The warning light blinked like a christmastree but after changing the lightbulb it stopped blinking and the "Head" signal on the display disappeared.

Sparkplugs need to be changed, possible new fork seals and some parts like a headlight. The oil-filter and oil will be replaced for shure.

The tank has some scratches and bad paint but is ok. The tyres are fine by me.

When she runs fine i'm gonna decide what to do with the looks.

What to do with the seat??? Should i change the cover or replace the whole seat???

BTW: She only runs on the choke, have to look at it.

Man....I thought that was the 750 I sold about a year ago until I noticed the license plate on the trailer.

The "Attari" display is really something, isn't it. I learned a trick on the XJ Forum (I think that's where it was) about the "BATT" light coming back on all the time. I guess it takes a special battery with a sensor of some sort in it. I was told to run power through a couple resistors and then to the sensor lead. That keeps the light from coming back on. Maybe I can find out or remember what resisitance I put in if you want to know. You can PM me.

far from a perfect fit......but definitely has one hell of a look to it...all things considered an 88 600 fairing on a 03 750 id say it turned out better than expected

Well I am not so sure about that.... if you look close you will see duct tape holding the mirror on (both sides) bike was backed into parking lot tip over. Left out side for about a year so there is some oxidation and no service record. I will know more this weekend when I have a chance to pull the plastics.

That's the plan I have a 35 mile commute over mountain highway (typically congested ) caught early enough its a decent ride over Santa Cruz Mountains.

I bought my two RD350LC's for $1700.00, before anyone gripes me for being over the 1500 mark let me explain. The rider cost me 1200 and the parts bike cost me 500 ;)

Nice! Solar power chargin the battery.

This is one of the bolds that mounted the headlight. The left side was a normal 10 or 12mm. The right one you can mount a ship to the dock with. I think it's a 16mm bold.





Maybe i'll replace the bold but leaf the housing



The wiring looks like a mess but is fine by me.



The bulbs from the display looks a bit gone. I replaced them and now there is some light again.





The next job to do is to clean the carbs because she only runs on the choke.

I traded a Honda CB650 for this and the guy gave me a grand which I used to go buy my son a new/used dirt bike.

Before:


Runs great. Rear shock is blown so, I sent it out to be rebuilt. I have about $400 into it at the moment. I needs a few other parts totalling another $200-$300 and it will be ready for the dirt.

I don't think I've bought a single bike for more than $1500. /counts on fingers.... Yup, all were under $1500. All ran too, at some point. A few were too far gone to actually do anything with, but one of my favorites was the Goldwing w/ Hack.
