Technically a trail is an unformed lane. Gelaende translates to terrain, but in the context of riding it means off-road. I'm pretty sure trail could be translated as Gelaendeweg. So it should be "Gelaendeweg fahren ist kein Verbrechen", ausser er gehoert dir nicht
![]() It's so much easier in NZ........

Hi There,
Wondering if someone can help. I want to but a part for my G/S, but it is pick up only in Ellerbek (near Hamburg I think), and I am in Sydney, Australia. The guy says "Nur Abholung" so I need help. I guess I need someone to pick it up and take it to DHL/DP and ship it for me. Does anyone live/work nearby who might be prepared to do this for me? I will pay a reasonable amount for the help (or promise to assist every German I ever meet on the road (as if I don't already - it's a BMW!)) Thanks for any advice or help, Toby |

Ship a part from Germany
The part is a paralever tank.
I missed the one in Ellerbeck (i had no shipping option), but I am onto another that will ship only in Germany. If I could get it shipped to an inmate in Germany who could send it on to me, I would be very grateful. It should be about 60 - 80 Euro, which of course I will send immediately. Please let me know if someone can help. Cheers from (rainy) Sydney, Toby |

Bavaria in late May
I'll be riding in Bavaria in late May and thought it would be fun to meet some fellow ADV riders if your interested or know of any riders that would like to meet or ride the area together.
Cheers , Dan

Riding in May
I'm flying into Vienna to buy a bike on May 25th. Then I'll meet a friend and his son who is flying in from Chicago to Munich and renting a bike. Then we were going to ride Austria and Germany !!
Cheers , Dan
