Nice bike Jeff.
.. I was out your way Sunday for breakfast at the Rock Island which has by far the best ham in the world. The chili might be the best also? I'm riding over to the new and improved Henry Ford Museum tomorrow weather permitting. As long as I'm over there I might as well stop at Lockharts BBQ in Royal Oak for lunch. They have perhaps the best Texas style BBQ north of the Red River.

Dang it's too nice to be inside working :(
. . . . . . . . And knowing the bike is in the parking lot... . . . . . and knowing that Brewery Vivant is 5 minutes away with an open patio to sip cold suds on... |

Had a ride from Big Rapids out to Lake Michigan trying to avoid tarmac as much as possible.
Came across a guy on a red KLR and waved, in hindsight I should've stopped and said hi. I could use some riding buddies out here ![]() 130 miles round trip and managed about 50% dirt time, perfect day for it |

Is this weather freaky or what? One or two days like this is one thing but all this week? Same forecast for next week, dang. I just got back from a pie ride out to the lakeshore.
One the way back I stopped at the North Dorr store for a soft drink and much enjoyed the wheelie exhibition put on by the local guy on the KTM. ..I wonder if he is a lurker here? .Once upon a time I used to do nice wheelies like that on my Bultaco, only longer. Tomorrow is going to be a great day for a RTE in search of cornbeef and cabbage....maybe a couple green beers too.

2 for 1 day
Well had a good ride today, hit some street and some trails with the KLX400. While out on the icy trails had my first fall on the bike. Glad to get that out of the way with nobody watching. Then, a block from home going around the last corner before the subdivision I get this wiggily rear end... Blown tube. Best time to get a blown out, right arond the corner from home, on my way home. So now I get to learn how to chainge a the tire on this bike.
