I'm waiting for the price to hit $4999 before I jump into the fray.

http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/2902823309.html

Up for Sale to Colorado Triple Fans! Price is FIRM.

Sorry if you are on ADV, but does anyone else think this guy is nuts:

http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/2903794851.html

1968 DT1 Yamaha DT250 ... only $5500? Sorry all original or not, it doesnt look great, nor do i believe that it is worth that. Its no '47 Indian or anything....

Mileage isnt listed either.

edit: I bought my 76 DT125 for $200 with 1200 miles. It didnt look much worse than that.

Personally I get tired of all of us debating what a CL bike is worth, whether the seller is high (in either sense of the word), etc. He's asking what he's asking. It's his bike. I could care less if it sells or if he has to sit on it for a year before lowering the price. No one's business but the sellers. Having said that, here's a '68 Yamaha DT1 on ebay that is currently at $3,400 and the reserve has not been met yet. Granted, the ebay one is in better condition.

I hear ya, and often bite my tongue before copying a link into this thread, but come on. The one you xposted from ebay is worlds better condition than this one.... but in reading the listing further is not original.

In any case, seems ridiculously priced to me

I think it's mighty decent of the seller to include a photo of the rust in the tank.

Kawasaki KLE-650 Versys, Plasma Blue. 18,000 miles

not mine just looked like a good deal

http://elpaso.en.craigslist.org/mcy/2904210449.html

For Sale. Kawasaki KLE-650 Versys, Plasma Blue. 18,000 miles.

Hello, this is my 2009 Kawasaki Versys. I bought this bike as new-old-stock in October 2010. In 1.5 years I've put about 18,000 miles on it. It's a good bike, it's been used off road and on road, and it's got a few scratches in the paint on the tank and on the fairings, but nothing particulary major. I've added touch up paint in areas to cover the white and to prevent rust, but you can certainly tell that it's touch up paint. There's a pretty good sized scratch on a fairing, but nothing catastrophic, you can either buff it out, buy a painted fairing, paint it, or leave it alone, just like I have. Not much cosmetically wrong with this bike.

Mods:
Adjustable mounted Aftermarket Windshield with adjustable spoiler.
GPS Mount (XM radio antenna not include) Right now it has a Garmin 665 cradle, you can install whatever you want.
High Output LED Auxiliary Lights on SWMotech mounts. (Twisted Throttle/VisionX)
Ixil Dual Can Exhaust (600$ retail). Has removable silencers.
FuzeBlock auxiliary power distribution box, for key on accessories. Has Escort radar detector power source, 12v outlet, aux lamps and garmin 665 cradle attached to it.
Brake Modulator to flash rear brake when stopping.
SW Motech Rear rack.
SW Motech Side Racks (no cases included, but allows the mounting of a wide array of side cases)
Factory black side panels.
Avon Distanzia Tires, good tread. About 60-70% front, 70-80% rear.
SW Motech Crashbars (yes, they've seen action. no, the bike hasn't been damaged.)
New Front and Rear Sprockets. Stock sized 15 tooth front. Lower tooth 40 tooth rear.
New D.I.D. X-Ring chain, coated in cosmoline.
Rear swingarm spools for maintenance stand.
Barkbuster VPS Handguards, with aluminum back bone. Saves your hands from debris and cold wind.
Rubber Tankpad (hasn't helped much, still some zipper scratches)

Additional Pictures at:
http://s66.photobucket.com/albums/h2...r/versys4sale/

Price is firm at $4500. I have a title, and a manual, and a service manual PDF. I'm in no hurry to sell this bike. I was just wanting to try something different, and getting another bike is not dependent on selling this one.
