NX650 for the missus

Thought I would share my progress on the NX 650 trailing and testing well under way total build cost to Date $40.00

It has a slight front end wobble and around 30klms and also it pulls to the left a little still trying to dial them out any help would be appriecated,,

I like this build....very utilitarian and cheap. Glad to see that your missus is having fun with it....

At first glance at the pix out side the fence your hack looks like a refrigerator laying on its back side.
Looks like you are making every spot count w/ the blue LP tank.

Maybe its just me but that out fit looks a bit heavy for the bike. What to you think it weights out at?

If the box had an angle point on it could that lessen some of the pulling.
Thinking that even at 30ks the wind would push an angle a bit more to the right.
Could lessen the tire wear a bit as well.

You are indeed one lucky fellow to have a Lady who rides & works on her own sidecar.

It is a fridge/freezer on its back - what a great idea for a sidecar body!

I'm no expert by any means, but I have built my own sidecar chassis, and it rides very well. If it were mine I would go with some stiffer springs on the hack swing arm. It would raise the sidecar chassis, which looking at the first pic, it could use. Also it would have the side benefit of leaning the tug to the right which would counter act your pull to the left... That's my suggestion from one budget builder to another. I do like the refrigerator idea btw. I never thought of that, I went with a coffin but considered things such as a bath tub for my tub.

Hi This is my brothers Build .He is not on here much.
It did real well on the 8000km ride no problems at all

The sidecar is off the bike for now, they might put it back on at a later date .Maybe for the next Off center Rally .

Photo is from there ride last year. In Qld i think.

You ought to put a alarm or a red light or something on the door so who ever is the passenger can signal when they have to piss, or if they aren't getting enough air, or if they lose the beer opener.
Just a thought.
