Hi Guys,
Does anyone know if Rokklym is still doing the Great River Gravel Ride? I remember going to that when I was living in Iowa City back in 2006. I'm living up in Northern MN now, but it would make a great day ride down to an event somewhere in the same area as Yellow River State Park.

Took the Vstrom out for the first gravel road ride today. This weather is ridiculous for March. Good ride.

Nevada(ames) ia here. just picked up an 08 sm610 last week. work at the Buell/Hd shop in ames.

been doing alot of gravel jamming and off roading on my buells for years and decided it was time to add something to the fleet thats better suited for it!

From a quick search:

The cemetery is actually the Huston Family Cemetery. There used to be a sign that read:

"First burial here in 1847, two small daughters of the Harper family, going by wagon train to California. Became private cemetery of J. B. Huston family. Stage route ran by cemetery. Mr. Huston ran station and Post Office ½ mile east. He was first Dallas County Attorney. The stage route (Iowa City, Des Moines, Council Bluffs) was abandoned 1867 when railroads came."

BTW, anyone here drive a dark green Xterra w/ an ADV sticker on the back? I've seen it on 235 a couple of times during my drive in to work from WDM.

Yup, that's me. ADV sticker on the rusty bumper, and a KTM sticker on the driver's side rear window.
