Put the Multi in the garage last night to put my GoPro mounts on her...got lazy, watched a movie called "Tucker and Earl Vs Evil" and then went to bed.
Ended up caging it in to work today and now am feeling sick to my stomach. I think the powers that be are trying to tell me that not riding is a sin. Ugh...hate work...want to ride. Bored bored bored. /end pointless rambling |

We should get a ADV meet up going for this summer. Seems like we have quite a bit of people on here. Anyone go to the gathering on the grounds over the summer when they have them? Pretty much every Tuesday evening of the summer starting in April the state fair grounds is filled with bikes/cars. The first one is April 10th I believe.
Took my R90/6 on it's first shake down ride, we were headed to Ames to get some Hickory Park and I got to about Maxwell and the clutch gave out on me. Turns out it was the throw out bearing and the pressure plate. Both have been ordered and am now awaiting their arrival. Better pictures of my bike, if you see me around wave me down! ![]() ![]() myself on the bike before the clutch incident.

Rode to work today.
Co-worker approaches me and says, "You RODE today?? You know it is going to rain this afternoon...right?" I opened my backpack and showed him my awesome raingear. He still looked perplexed. I put in 140ish miles last night. Did a loop down through Winterset to Osceola back up through Indianola and then home with several side jaunts off on B surface roads. The Multi in enduro mode feels like a great big dirtbike. I ran my GoPro but discovered that an 8GB card is WAY too small for 720p @60fps. Meeting up with a smallish group at Struthers Saturday morning 11am to do the "Pella Loop" out of Newton. This is the "typical" route. They usually take interstate to get to Newton while I go through Altoona/Mitchellville/Colfax myself. |

Live in the suburbs of Ames, Nevada. Our paths ought to cross! I ride a 650 KLR on the back roads and have a bigger Honda for the hard ones...we ought to get together for a ride sometime....

Where do you ride around Nevada? Are there any good roads out that way?

Wow, it was sunny over there today. Cloudy and dreary here all day. Really like the windmill photo.
