Great RR! Love that route, give or take a leg here and there. Actually nearly broke my leg on Smoky Mtn Road going 1 mph in the mud. Havasupai wasn't $60 when i was there last!

FUTURE RR TO COME: I'm still planning to ride to Bryce May 7&8 then back 11 12 13, so ride down or back, or find something to do while i'm busy, like hike around. Sounds like Pluric is in, but he'll need to sell a bike for a Garmin Rino and stay in back to ease my mind. I've ditched his ass as an offering for the vultures in the past, only because there was no option, but this time I'll lend him a Rino so I'm not annoyed with his antics. Ain't gonna be BADB riding (unless you're TT or the like), and last time Pluric's light bike exploded, so maybe this will be BRP mid-bike or MADB scale.

I know. It's embarrassing.

I never said I was hard core. I like adventure riding as long as I'm too far away from help since I usually ride alone. I came across this road quite by accident when I was cruising from Monument Valley to Moab. I saw a sign that read, "10% Grades . . .gravel . . . switchbacks" and I thought: this is for me.

I sat my camera down on a rock with the timer on so I could get a picture of me riding up the road, then some donkey dick cruises past in a jalopy kicking up all kinds of dust. And, evidently, ruining my picture.

BTW, you didn't have to post it twice. That's just mean.

I've been told by someone you know that I am "mean". That hurt.

Just say'n. Admitting you got passed by a 66 Volkswagon bus doesn't exactly
count as getting your ADV card punched.

I only got passed because I was off my bike setting up my camera. I should have waited another 30 seconds until the POS was out of the shot.

Live and learn.

Want to ride the Swell / Goblin Valley with me first week of May? I'm heading to Moab for the weekend.
