When Moses stood on the banks and parted the water, he used the DR to escape, knowing that to use anything Euro would have left him at the bottom of the harbour.

Well nice to get a ride in again, you learn what bits you have added poorly when they break
Even had to stop and adjust the chain, it's maxed out now. So anyway the gasman and I set off from Barky and headed for yabbieville to pick up the Sitdownman who hasn't ridden since is get off on the Collaroy rd I almost managed to get us lost in the first section, Gasman was thinking "what am i doing following this bloke" So i managed to turn a 170k leg into a 235k instead. Picked up Henry at the Reach! and had to divert around the flooding Thompson river, so we missed out Muttaburra and took the back way to Ilfracombe and across to Aramac, Henry's bike managed to find a roll of fencing wire in the back wheel, one of my spot light brackets snapped off The cow hoof pads in the black soil was like riding on railway sleepers, "good Vibrations" Plenty of wheel ruts to keep you on your toes across to Aramac. Fueled up and headed for reedy creek, had a good run, a few washouts, and plenty of wildlife hopping around. Stopped at lake Gallilee for a look, a lot more water in it than last time i saw it, hit the causway at the Lake runoff, plenty of Green slime to be seen outside the wheel tracks, my favourite! Had a good night at the hut, the lake is overfull again, so we cooked up some steaks, washed down a carton of Mid's and hit the hay. ![]() Awoke to the smell of bacon & eggs on the BBQ, had some caffine and set off for some cultural heritage exploration Again the wildlife was out in force, the wet cow pads were making my boots a little sticky Even came acroos a big heffer dressed in black tights and a walkaman leaving big hoof prints in the wetter than normal road. Surprizing amount of ground spring water in some of the desert country out here at present, anyway we found this joint called Gray Rock Roadhouse, it has good shade and you can take a dump in ambient temperature, there's even an art Gallery if your into that kind of stuff. After that we headed for home and got back about 2pm today all up 800k . No crashes, but me and Henry got some loose bits to sort out before Springsure, here's a few snaps.Sunrize at the hut. ![]() Gray Rock Roadhouse ![]() Grey Rock Art Gallery! ![]() ![]() Didn't quite catch the name of the artist, but the stensil and spray paint is very original i thought. ![]() After digesting the heritage art collection we opted for a cuppa at the Roadhouse inn. ![]() Ah! it was all to much excitement, so i had to go.
