Dunlop 606 worked well for 4500km to the KLRRR and home, lots of tar and they still worked well in the dirt / sand / rocks on the way home.

Oils arn't Oils Sol. my advice is pick a good quality oil and stick with it, dont put Castrol in this month and Caltex next change etc, dont mix different bands of oil as they all have slightly different additives and these additives put different coatings on the bore, rings etc. If you change brands the new oil could clean the surface and take time to apply its own "coating" in which time the motor could use oil. Dont change to diesel oil (if you motor isn't new) as it has a much higher detergent level which will wash the bore and rings and generally causes high oil usage.

I havent had any personal experience with the EO9 but have heard people say you must have the EO9 Dakar not just an EO9. The Dakar is supposed to be a better tyre?????????????????????

2008 question
Has anyone had any trouble with either the front disk warping or the caliper seizing on the slides? One of these will be the cause of my squeaking front brake. The last set of pads wore completely out on one side while the other was only about half gone.
any opinion?
