Hello,

As I have been a West Coast guy my whole life (almost 60), I am very disturbed that I
have never test rode or taken a demo with an Eastern Beaver !!!!!!! Sounds like a must have.

Get some spray-on foot powder and spray it all over the engine, after you had removed any existing oil and dried it off. Go out for a ride, the leaking spot will make itself known and will be very easy to see. I also am guessing its the CCT gasket. Oil goes everywhere from the wind swirling around the engine. Make sure you read up on proper removal and installation of the CCT mech. This gasket often starts leaking as a result of too much engine oil.

Hey All,

Looking to get rid of the monstrous lighting on the rear of my DR..Can some of you who have done some simpler substitutions post pictures of your solutions? I'm trying to get ideas... Anyone using a baja designs style LED tail light?

Have you seen that the DR250 tail light is a direct replacement? Or do you want something different than that?

most folks install dr250 tail lights.

I didn't know about Procycle or ADVrider when I did this. That Procycle piece looks very nice.

I didn't want my rear tire throwing crap on my jacket so I left most of Suzuki's parts on. Besides the taillight shown above, I recessed my plate light into the fender, trimmed the bottom edge off the fender and removed the plate bracket. A solid piece of alum is cut to the size of the plate for support.

That's weird: I smudged my lisc plate in Smugmug and now it's bigger than the second pic??
