Hit by a cager on my way home

Heading home on my 2006 BMW R1200GS on Monday, the 2nd of April. Going about 40MPH, Lady in a black Cadillac suddenly decided to take a left turn right in front of me. She was to my right at a stop sign on a road that runs perpendicular to the one I was on. Had maybe half a second to process because traffic had hid her as she began to jump out. Hit and pretty much destroyed her front end and I went flying.

Landed on my back about 20 feet from the accident and sustained no major injuries. Took the ambulance ride because I wanted to be sure I was ok aside from the bruising and I checked out alright. The GS is totalled, dealer says parts will be $14,000 alone not including aftermarket bits.

I'll put up pics from the accident scene when I can get the insurance company to send them. Haven't received a settlement from them either. Her insurance agent is USAA.

I loved that bike. In the market for a 1200GSA btw.
