Just entered mine (~26K) for my 2006! But the bike only had 4K on it when I bought it 2 years ago.

commuter?
One rider has a 2012 with 30-40K, wow.
![]() I wonder if they commute or bought in '11. When I got mine in Feb, it was the only one on the floor and only one of a handful they had gotten. A competitor had no '12's and only one '11 left. |

I rode my 05 for the first time since October and rolled to 80686 miles. I spooned on a new front tire and was going to replace rear pads, but they look like they'll live through my first trip in April

Quick aside...
...did you know that you can embed an Excel chart right into ADV? You've already done the hard part - upload the spreadsheet to Skydrive. Then just click the embed link from the right hand side, configure the settings to just get the chart, copy the code, use the ADV advanced editor to paste in, bingo!
Here are the step-by-step instructions if you need more info: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...102602477.aspx I would do it for you, but I'm not the owner of the spreadsheet, so no embed entry point for the sharing public. Here's an example chart from a trip planning spreadsheet used on another thread... p.s. I'm an '08 GS, 28K |

Not me, I'm down to about 20k a year now. Used to do 35k+ but discovered shipping 2 years ago.

I have 862,517km in the logs (the original instruments are long dead) on a GS since March '05. It sounds impressive, but it has only averaged 123,000km or 76,000mi per year living and working in remote regions.
The bike was my company vehicle (I own the company) due for replacement in 2008 before it hit 400k. That didn't happen after I had an accident on another bike. It was replaced in '10, but the new GSA was seriously damaged a couple of months later and spent the rest of the year off the road and after being repaired was left in secure storage for 6 months when trapped by flood waters. My daughter recovered and kept it mid 2011 - it has been good to her. A new bike arrived in January this year, but I am back on the '05 again until my girlfriends new bike arrives. If she keeps the bike that she is on then I am okay with that if it makes her happy, but I am wondering if I will ever be able to put the old girl to rest.
