ATGATT is overrated.... it's for guys who are either too afraid of a boo-boo or those who feel like thay have to put on an amour suit to prove how manly they are to participate in such a dangerous activity.
People always ask me if I am hot in my riding suit.....my reply???

"Why yes, I am hot...I dress for the fall, not the ride"....and yes, my helmet says ARAI.

AND...how are you going to explain to her parents YOU disfigured their daughter??? Get real.

OK no ATGATT.

I was not joking about Indian Larry as he would be alive today if he wore a helmet while stunting.

IIRC, it was many years ago in a Daytona BMW dealership that the manager rolled a bike off the center stand while seated on the bike.
The center stand decided at that time to break, throwing his unhelmeted head to the floor killing him.

Not taking sides on this one, just pointing out that per the video description both bikes were running car tires on the back

Weekend of Thanksgiving 2011. Both Wings running car tires (Yokohama on lead bike, Kuhmo on chase bike). Got tired of going around the track on our sportbikes and decides to relax a bit.

O.K. enough of this square tire, biker safety, moto-banter stuff.
Me and an ocean of other hawking noobs (that don't have enough balls to post here) are waiting for the next Killboy Failure pic.
So put something up.

Yeah, just sayin' like it is.
Thanks,

And to think, we allow people to sit on bar stools and consume alcohol without wearing a helmet. And walk up and down stairs and ....

BS! You nor anyone else knows whether he would be alive or not if wearing a helmet.

Sometimes people die even while wearing a helmet.

The only claim that can accurately be made is he probably wouldn't have fallen off the bike if he wasn't standing on the seat with his arms outstretched as it was moving.

Even the veterans would like most of these ijits to STFU, but it appears we've now broken down into a helmet vs non-helmet war. Jesus H......

Actually, you could also say it would be less likely that he would have died if he had been wearing a proper helmet.

I agree that it would not be certain, but likelyhood would favor the life side more.
