My wife actually has one of those. I guess it is supposed to keep you hair from tangling in the wind.

"you should get the town to buy you some protective gear."

His reply...
"I don't go that Fast."

You can't argue with stupid.

They would have more gear, if they did not spend all of their clothing allowance on GoGo Boots!

Helps keep her hair from getting that ratty biker hag look. Hair tied with a scrunchie or rubber band, flapping around in the wind can get cut. Happened to a friend after a couple rides and she cried like a baby.

Unclear on this.... cut by the leather thingy or by the scrunchy/rubber band thingy? Girfriend has long hair and we usually braid and scrunchy it before a ride. Hate for her to lose it.
/thread jack, more pics please!!!

Really? I thought that leather thing was part of the pirate outfit, to protect your neck from getting cut with a cutlass.

None of the women I know have problems with rubber bands... I'd see it uncomfy to have a leather scabbard under a full face helmet..

As for that dog pic, I'd see the pooch flying off really easily if the rider had to do a quick manouver or quickly brake, etc... kinda hazardous for the pooch.

Rubber bands will break the hair. I use a fabric type band top and bottom of the plait ... my hair is waist length. Didn't like the leather plait cover things ... catches on the helmet.

Dog riding on the tank would be illegal here.
