Yes it is! Let me tell you it has taken MANY years of work to get ODNR to the point where they would consider a project like that. To see it finally starting to happen makes many of us feel that the time and effort has been worth it. OMTA President Bill K. (inmate Buckeye Dualsporter) will have more info to share at the meeting about the status of the project. He attended a riding tour/meeting of Burr Oak with senior ODNR officials 2 weeks ago. I know it is hard to believe that ODNR is working on a public trail project with a meaningful amount of trails miles; and even I with inside knowledge of the project still have a slightly skeptical "I'll believe it when I see it" attitude, but this is happening!

Cool! Like the bit where he almost touches the wing coming onto the spit to land.

I think I'll ask at work if they would like to donate one for me to ride to Alaska for a road test

I was wondering if they would actually produce it. I was working at the motorcycle plant back when they were developing that stupid "Fury" chopper thing. I tried to tell some of the new model team guy's that the chopper thing was already over even then and they should be working on an adventure tourer.

Cool. That is a really great park in the heart of a really depressed area, I look forward to the new trails.

+1

Any possibility (I know this probably very early in the process) that single-track could be incorporated in addition to multi-use (quad width) trails?

Seems a shame to just re-create Wayne in Burr Oak, IMHO.

Dont be such a fucking puss. That was smooth compared to what those bush pilots land on when the camera man isnt already on the ground.

My laugh for the day was provided by a DID chain rep.

D.I.D Motorcycle Chain What is the part number for that D.I.D chain engraved on the sides?

Topo Lake ‎520VM
Tuesday at 5:33pm

D.I.D Motorcycle Chain The best recommended chain for your bike is the D.I.D Super Street X-Ring 520ZVM-X which has a maximum of 1200c.c. This chain is much stronger and has a tensile strength of 8,745 pounds versus 8,050. Also, in your picture the inner side plates seem to be scratched up. Perhaps there is a misalignment. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Topo Lake Wow, my KLR has over 8050 ft pounds of torque? Wouldn't a misalignment that bad scar the sprocket teeth?
Think I can get him to admit the chain shouldn't have done that?

I had a heck of a time getting DID to warranty a VM2 chain that was puking rust after 4,000 miles...from nearly every o-ring. There are too many good chains on the market to put up with that, IMHO, I won't buy another.

Neither will I but the idea that my bike was needing a chain used on 1200 cc bikes makes me just laugh like a ticket for 205mph on the KLR.
