I'm surprised nobody's mentioned it, but if you're Arkansas, what do you do? You might dislike Petrino, but the guy delivers. Two weeks ago, Arkansas might have been a top 5 team preseason. if it wasn't for the other two titans in the division they'd be the best team in the SEC.

My first loyalty is to the University of Arkansas. I trust that Jeff Long will do what's best for the program. Everyone ogs in the Razorback Nation is devastated! This is heartbreaking as Coach Petrino is a very good friend of mine! From here, I think we will need a great coach like him to continue our winning ways! I myself, would hold out for a great NFL coach---GRUDEN! #GoHogs

Wannstedt's name mentioned in connection to Arkansas job

It didn't take long for Bills defensive coordinator Dave Wannstedt's name to be kicked around as a potential replacement for fired Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino.
In a tweet last night, ESPN national college football reporter Joe Schad mentioned Wannstedt as a possible candidate.
