Yeah, at full power it puts out some serious light - I usually use the lower power setting for most things. The great thing is you can focus the beam from flood to spot or anywhere in between. The power is completely variable, as well. I was skeptical of the weight of four AA batteries on a headlight but the strap is so well-engineered you don't even feel it. LED Lenser is a German company recently bought out by Leatherman, as I understand it.

Sierra wood stove
Using one for 3 years now. Awesome. Burns whatever is around you. Not as quick at gas but way more fun.
![]() ![]() ![]() Very compact to carry. No fuel needed just use leaves, branches, pine cones, wet wood. Uses AA battery to power fan. Last long time. Get crazy hot. |

this platform too is a good idea, you can move your motorcycle into the garaje or home and put it near a wall, etc.

Good used MSR camp cookstove like this one:
![]() We can ride many sorts of bikes through the same places, jackets, boots, etc ... but if you can't cook a satisfying dinner, make some coffee, boil water for clean drinking water or cooking ... things get dour pretty fast. |
