First choice... the best protection for the tank. If that means some crazy color/finish... then I would live with that.
First color choice (if it does not change the protection to the tank)... matte black. traveltoad screwed with this post 04-18-2012 at 06:22 PM |

I'm in. Black is good. Gloss preferred.
Material - best for protection. |

Looks like we will run the carbon on the outside for the black appearance. Ill figure out a way to provide both gloss and matte finishes. Ill have the first set done mid next week. Those will go to Spenser for fitting and to make sure there are no issues. We will price them after making a few sets, But I would expect them to be about the same as what is offered for the stock tank threw KTM twins and others, Plus we will give some sort of ADV discount.

Thanks, that's great news!
What is the standard method for mounting these to the tank, some type of silicone? ktm950se |

Yea!
I'm so happy. ![]() I'm not going to tell my SE about this. It's going to be a surprise! ![]() Personally, I'd prefer a gloss finish to match the ones on my ADV. Q~

There are some really good urethane double back PSA tapes out, that might also be an option. Thanks for all the replies, The project is coming along nicely..
