I seem to have collected a few more since my last post to this thread. These guys were somewhere in central Java, taking photos of themselves with their new cruiser... so I did a u-turn and rode back to them on the wrong side of the road. No worries.

..... and busted. Riding a bike on the tollway near Jakarta. I actually slowed down to let this bloke catch me. I shouldn't have.... it took me an additional 4 hours to get into Jakarta once I got booted off the tollway. They had no worries with me doing 175kph... but bikes aren't allowed

..... and busted, again. Leaving Jakarta this time

Nice cops actually.... the driver was all shaky (adrenaline surge) when he pulled me over. He was damn good.... I thought I'd got away from him... should I mention 140 through the traffic, threading the needle a bit?.... I'd got clear of the previous four cop cars .... they'd been waiting for me at each exit, so I made sure I was hidden as I approached them, then got into it a bit. I'd even had someone in a non-cop car have a go at me - tried to ram me... but he was easy to lose.

When the adrenaline wore off this bloke, while we waited for a tow truck and then a flatbed truck, yeah... he wasn't going to let me ride off, he gave me a bottle of water and a jam-filled bread roll. He even let me talk him into following him to the next exit in the breakdown lane.

These guys were all happy to say G'day too - at a petrol station

Two cops in this one... a one horse town on a back road in northern Sumatra. The guy pointing to the front wheel is plain clothes, but packing a pistol in his belt

^^ I'd take a pat-down from her

e moneybags - we found him.. haha.. He was on a forest road at a dead end. We rolled up on him and he wanted to talk. Once he saw we were all legal he was our best friend and told us to go have fun.

I have on gopro vid, he's a goofy character but a nice guy.

Well, that time he was, 2yrs ago he pulled his club on me and tried to run my buddy off the road to stop us. hahaaa.. Same shit though. Found out we were legal and turned into our long lost friend.

no......I think he went out in a van not an ambulance. We were just passing by and the cops assumed we were together (with the downed rider) since the jackass on the harley riding with me had obviously crashed recently too (check the mud and broken pieces/parts)

They detained us for over an hour for no reason, then apologized and let us leave............never checking retard on harley out at all. He tells me as we are sitting on this guard rail that he has no insurance, no license and his tags are NO GOOD. Cops never even asked for ID. If that had been me I'd still be sitting on that guardrail.

Watching CHiPs is what drove me to want to ride as a kid. He was super cool to talk to and had a blast looking at and talking about my bike. The fact that he autographed the gas tank really made the event worthwhile!!!
