I would like to get some protection between the switch and the handlebar, but there's no way that is going to happen here. My desperate attempts of finding a way to relocate it are: http://db.tt/PRdlae1e http://db.tt/Y7UKydMK I'm probably going to use a different switch. Sorry for not embedding the pics, but I'm doing all if this via mobile phone. I don't have a computer at this point. |

I've temporarily removed the pics. I'll get them back up later in the day.

Do you think you can fit some HIDs in the casing?

Installed the lights on my baby GS yesterday. Great product, the usual Givi standard. Came with everything: spots, brackets, harness, relay, fuses, switch, screws, and even covers for the screws. H3 lamps. Big, but very light. I aligned the spots to cover the dark area left by the low beam right in front of the bike (kinda like fog lights). I would like a little more dispersion from the spots (they are very focused).
Pics galore: ![]() ![]() Found a good place for the relay (under the seat): ![]() The switch (mounted on the handlebar): ![]() Here's the original low beam: ![]() Low beam + lights: ![]() Original high beam: ![]() High beam + lights: ![]() A couple shots from the front: ![]()

Nice! Thanks for posting the pictures, looks pretty good.
How is the vibration when riding, do you notice any shake on the lights when riding at night? |

They are 22mm I think? The switch was a perfect fit. -------------------- Now what is bothering me is the shadow caused by the brake caliper - you can see it in the pics (left of center of the projected light pattern). I'll try to find a way to correct that.

Well, Givi "support" seems to suck. No response from them so far.

I think I'm going to pick up a set for my versys using the sw motch high mount light mounts, and retro fit hid in there. Should throw a lot of light then. 55w hid in there should be very bright...
