Using velcro to hold a tank bag in place?

WOW!

I just got back to this thread and am excited to see so much good feedback and advice. The tank bag is for a Ducati Monster I have a strap bag and a bags connection day bag with the horseshoe mount. I wanted something bigger but the larger strap bags are hard to fit because they tend to have a lot of base material under the bag. So my thinking was to get a magnet bag and cut the wings off then use velcro with a tether.

I will update you all when I find a bag that fits right. I'm also thinking about using the bags connection mount on a bigger bag and making a base inside it.
