Will be 71 tomorrow. Still working full time. Retired once and may again sometime. Planning on 5 weeks in Alaska this summer...using truck/camper not Ural or BMW.

Most of us no longer use the OHHHHH word. I remember .25 gallon of real gas not vegetable fuel everyone was nicer on a honda (RIGHT) driving 100mph on a gravel road and changing 4 tires between PG and Mcbride on the old jeep trail before the hwy was finished. Driving thru the hydro tower on hwy 16 Terrace to Prince Rupert. Riding legal since 1965

Be 72 This Year . . .
I may have responded to this thread before, but too lazy to look. But, while I hate to admit it I find the hack sometimes more fun to ride. But, I find myself sometimes making excuses when I'm riding it. Someone might ask about it and I interject, unsolicited, that I also have multiple two-wheel bikes. They didn't ask but perhaps it's just my way of saying 'Hey, I can ride a two-wheeler also and I ride this hack out of choice, not necessity.'
U-turns on narrow roads are a pain, not so with a hack. While it doesn't snow in FL, well, I read and see lots of folks having fun in the snow with hacks, not two wheelers. And, let's face it, they are cool.

Enjoy your trip to Alaska. Lived there back in the '70's. Be sure to spend a couple of days in Haines, and of course you must be going to Denali; pop down to Kenai. Oh, be sure to take a gold pan!

Guess it's time to fess up...I'll be 75 next month. Been two wheeling since 1949 [ 3.5 hp Salsbury scooter ]. My 'tug' is
41 years old, my 'chair' is 28 yo. ( Moto Guzzi Eldorado w Watsonion Palma ), and I still have, and ride, three two wheelers. [ '76; '79; '03; ] although my knees are telling me that I'll be spending more time on the rig! If I had to sell my bikes...the rig would be the last to go! Don |

I'm 34 and have just recently got my first combination, my daughter is 5 and my dog is 3. The 1997 bike is the newest vehicle I have ever owned and was also the most expensive but it came with the chair profesionally mated which is good for a newby.
