It sold on eBay, but to a bidder with "0" feedback, so those deals always look a little flaky to me. It's been 10 days now and the seller has not left any feedback for the buyer so that usually indicates that the deal did not go through.

On the other hand, the pics and description are identical to the eBay auction, so it's very possible that the Craigslist ad is a fraud. Could be just some guy copied the pics from eBay figuring that he can get some old dude from Peoria to send him a $2500 downpayment before he vanishes into thin air. Note that the Craigslist ad is in New York City while the eBay auction was from a guy in Chicago.

Edit: just got a message from the seller. The Craigslist ad is indeed a scam listing. The bike was paid for in full though the buyer has not yet picked it up.

I saw that a few days ago, and flagged it noting the exact same description as ebay, and the discrepancy in the locations.

Probably because it has touched a Harley. That's what happens when hacks touch Harley's, they appreciate in value...

Hey! Are those machine guns? Real or not, they would improve my commute time - no one would dare cut me off. Too bad it's on the other coast.

That's a good deal! They're really hard to come by on this side of the country...

Yeah, if you're into black leather and studs and conchos etc., that's a nice shaft drive cruiser rig right there at a really decent price. Pic--

Somebody please buy this and let me drive it just once. I love old iron. This looks to be well sorted.

This does not surprise me as I would know it if I had a twin outfit in Brooklyn

R75 with hack in Phoenix

Not mine, never even seen it. But the guy has agood sense of humor: " This rig turns more heads than a burning Harley on the side of the road."
