Nice! Congrats on the trip, the new ride, and from one pops to another the boys (the only thing better than the ride)! Your bike looks like they took a pic.of mine where it was sitting in the same spot a month before. Hope it's not my bike's doppleganger brought on by the highway break in.

Hey Britt, hope things are going well... stop by on the way to Alaska and I might just go with... Wish I had more time to ride but have to do alot of jeepin' on weekends so I can bring the preggo wife and my kid.

That bike is nice!!! Can't wait until he buys some new pipes from me for it. I like the way they bark with those Leo-Vince cans on them. And yes Holeshotking get that thing put back together and we need to take him over the the Allegheny National forest soon.

Yeah, I need to find time to work on it! Should be able to get it done Sunday. Farmers Beemer was nice, and he wasn't all that happy with me!! (knocked his gps off bars from landing too hard!) LOL! And Fritty we need to check out the map and get a good route in order with as much fire roads as possible and stay the night at Mogs cabin. I'm getting excited, I got to get my bike together!!!!

Well we did some trailriding Sunday, and got some short videos but that is up to Carey to post! What great machines!!

Hard to tell in the video, but this hill is off camber at the top and pretty steep. Going up was no problem, but a little sketchy on the decent. Watch the rear end kick out just a little at the top, there was no slowing this beast down from there.

Are you the other guy that bought the R from appalacian offroad? lol jesse there said you did a fly and ride and saw just about every type of weather on the way back. I just bought an R from them as well 2 weeks ago, what an awesome bike!

1. Gore-tex gear (saved my rear in blizzard and rain storm)
2. Heated grips (saved me in blizzard)
3. Heated Jacket (saved me in blizzard)
4. Seat pad (optional, can just stand up for 5 min every 1/2 hour)
5. Touring screen and/or earplugs.
6. If you are getting the service done by Geo/AOMC in Cross Roads WV, stay away from the Strohs beer in the shop fridge (might be number 1).

Good luck and don't let the naysayers try and talk you out of it.

Also, for freeway break in you can keep the same cruising speed and just change gears to vary RPM, just keep it under 6500 RPM per the manual for the first 600 miles.
