Isn't the answer to every car question on ADV, "Subaru"?

if you need three rows for kids, suck it up and get the minivan... they're safe and easy to get in and out of... and they are cheap... If I have more than one person traveling with me on business, we always opt for the minivans... comfortable...

I would, but I'm not the one with the minivan aversion.

I popped in and met Leonard, nice guy for sure. He's on the lookout for a Traverse that might suit me. I need to do some more research on this cam chain thing though. Probably nothing, but...

I've got a Jeep Commander. Three rows, front seats are nice, middle are ok for kids, third is small, very small. It gets about 15 on the hwy, 11 around town.

I'm not a big fan of how it looks, but wifey loves it.

90K+ miles on the 5.7 Hemi and no problems with the engine or any other components. The all wheel drive is outstanding in snow and mud. It pulls the 5,000 boat like it's not even there ('cept for the even worse gas mileage).

The Commander is the same chassis as the Grand Cherokee, but with a more boxy body.

Certainly worth a look.

I'll add it to the list, but gawd is that an awful looking vehicle. Of course if wives had good taste how many of us would still be single?

It's looking like the Traverse issue is only on '08-'09 builds. Of course the one I found for $15k is an '09.
