I just moved to RG. Sold KLR for DRZ SM. If there are other ADV'ers around I will get more dirt friendly tires.
Anyone else here have motocross bikes, ride/race?

Hektoglider, what was the riding like in the area around castle butte? It is one of the places I'd like to visit this year if the trip will be worth it.

Hwy 18 from Lake Alma west to the Big Muddy is ok for a paved road in Sask.It actually has some curves, elevation changes, and some scenery (vs your average straight road in the prairies). The rolling hills start just past LA as you go west. Also keep in mind you are within striking distance of some really good places for weekend overnight trips into Montana and ND.Some nice Badlands areas on the gravel routes.

Hey there,
Just getting the spring service of my dl650 this week. Always looking for a ride, although the strom is pretty stock and isnt exactly a dirt machine. In south Regina, so I'm close. PM if you're ever looking! |

Hwy 18 just shot to the top of my must-do this year. Thanks for that! Also...saw a white 2012 wee today in Regina. Belong to any of you? Nice wheels.
