Ya know Askel...

I'm not gonna touch that with a 10' pole. Yours, mine, or anyone else's.

Still waiting for my first trail ride on my 'used' Iron Horse. Rode it once, with the family on a "greenway" ride. Greenway is what they call paved walking/biking trails around here! I haven't been mountain biking in several years. had to buy a new helmet, old one was trash. Bike is tuned and ready to go. Already have the urge to upgrade...but that's foolish considering I haven't even "tested" it off road yet!

I did get to put a few miles on in the big city:

Highlight: One of New York's finest broadcasting over his cruiser bullhorn, "Please tell me you're not even THINKING of riding your bike through the Holland Tunnel."
I wondered why Broome St. seems so familiar to me on my way from the Ducati dealer back to Riverside Dr. FWIW, dodging busses and taxis on Broadway is every bit as exciting as a trackday.

Nicolai Argon (Thanks James Renazco for such a awesome deal) on top of a modified sportworks rack (Use to be a hitch rack, now is a roof rack)

I love this little thing, even if it has 26" wheels.

Bullet frame, machete forks, bayonette rear frame, WWII german army helmet seat (with a mouse under it) pistols for handle bars and hand grenade pedals. I ask you- what's not to like?

Wow awesome bike including the nice shoulder strap and the old XT sharkfin too.

Ps: Looking at the picture in detail, are the cantilever mounts a "Clamp-On" or welded to the frame and fork in a conventional manner..??

How do you like it?

I've ridden a 29'r once, and I loved it but it was a $3K bike and that was waaay too much for me, I don't really need a 29'r but...I'd sure like to have one.

Kent Erikson,Moots founder made these bikes able to adapt to 700"c" rims /tires available in that era, thus the moovable brake mounts.I went to Steamboat Springs and took a tour of his shop(an old converted sawdust kiln) and was so impressed I ordered an expensive(at that time,$1300.00,bike).Just went through a divorce and paid out the ass to scumbag lawyers and ex-wife.I thought I deserved a present.I pulled up next to a guy on a new titanium Moots road bike two years ago in Stone Harbor N.J and he about shit himself when I pointed out that I too,was riding a Moots(not a $3500.00 one tho!)
