No problem. Quite a bit of the stuff I deal with takes connectors like the first one in the post. It's been a while since I used the type you need but all that stuff is still available. Sierra is dropping stuff from the catalogs every month like most automotive parts places.

It's available at any lawnmower shop, and is completely waterproof. There are no threaded parts to vibrate loose and fall apart. The best plug cable is still the old Packard 440 wire core.
