I advise to use a smooth (no holes) 4.5mm stainless bottom skid plate and lodge a piece of 15mm (or so) conveyer belt between sump & plate. This way the shock is displaced over many load points (and not only the crashbars bolts). Your bike will slide over the rocks without slowing down :)
