This past weekend there was a pretty good Utah crew that made the trek to Cascade Montana (north of Helena) for the Ought Six Enduro. This is a 2-day ISDE format enduro, much like Idaho City. This was my first year attending and it was awesome. I will be back. The time schedule and entire atmosphere is considerably more relaxed than Idaho City, but there are some real quality trails on this private ranch. The Utah Boys represented well. Greg Gillian (multi-time ISDE participant who now lives in Utah) was 3rd overall AA rider after Day 1. Brady Elton was 5th, Shawn Strong 7th, and Rich Black 9th. Day 2 had Brady Elton and Josh Knight finishing in the top 10.
We really really need to get some Enduros in Utah. They are so much fun....basically a fast trail ride with 9 race-pace motos (timed special tests) thrown in the middle. http://www.moto-tally.com/TM/Results.aspx http://teammontanaisde.com/ Here's a few pictures: Bike impound ![]() Greg Gillian, Josh Knight ready to start Saturday morning. ![]() Me and Benji. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Shawn Strong helping Brandon Green fix his clutch cable, and get him back on the course. ![]() ![]()

comes in at the wristpin casting a clip could just drop straight down into the crank case. ![]() Does someone have a 650 piston to measure the clip hole size? That does look small for a 650.

Here's a good link to fiche. I notice on the piston assembly that the wrist pin clip is called out at 23mm which converts to .905" This is much bigger than the part you have. It must be something else. If you look at the shift drum assembley there is a clip that measures 14mm. Could be this. I also see this same clip on the kick start spindle. Also check out the oil pump assembly. I see a small clip there. This might be an easy fix. I think the oil pump is accessible without splitting the case.

Kev I also have my little lightweight trailer if need be too. I have to pay it forward from borrowing MSH and pluric's trailers before I had mine. Tows behind my Volvo at 80 w no real loss of mileage so it would tow behind anything just fine I think...
