Street legal SX-F conversion PTA?

I have a chance at a 450 sx-f. I would really like it to be street legal.
Has anyone here made the conversion? If so cost and PTA factor?

Thanks .

Check your State Regulations

I believe it has a lot to do with your state's regulations. I have converted a few bikes to street legal here in California and if you know all rules it is pretty easy and straight forward. Just build a street legal kit. Here in California it requires, headlight, brake light, taillight, turn signals, horn and high beam indicator. Pretty easy to do as especially if you buy a pre made system like the ones made by Baja Designs. My 2009 xc-w had most of the wiring there already so it was pretty much just plug in connectors.

Good Luck

Adam
