Well I like these things, cars are just carriages with engines, motorcycles are push bikes with engines, hacks are the non-viable bastard child of necessity kept alive by dog ownership, whimsy and a grin factor that is simply massive for the amount of speed/cash invested. These things are at least something a bit different and certainly 2+ wheeled moto-contraptions. I think there is room in Hacks for these things it seems a little harsh to push someone away for being a different type of eccentric they have broken out of the cage a drive a odd vehicle they should surely feel at home with us.

I just saw a touring model (RT?) yesterday in my town. A woman was driving with a guy riding on the back.

My wife attended the local Spyder demo day the weekend before last (I was out of town). The end result is that she traded in her Yamaha 950 V-Star and picked up her new base-model RT this afternoon. I don't think that I'll ever give up bikes for one, but it's a very cool machine, and if it will get us out riding more, great.
And, yes, after we got back home after a long ride this evening, I DID hop on the back -- long enough to run through the Taco Bell drive through at the end of the block. I feel no need to turn in my man card...nothing wrong with being a supportive husband. ![]() She test rode both the manual and semi-auto, and she liked the standard trans a whole lot more. She felt that the sequential was a lot less fun. Tanshanomi screwed with this post 05-09-2012 at 01:39 AM |

And will use it as a primary vehicle... Good deal... I hate to say that my mate had to ride on the back of my trike a few times due to his bike having a bad flat tire that couldn't be fixed on the road side... With Stop and Go plugs... So.. Hey I was just teasing .... I really don't have a problem with a guy riding Nice Person aka Bitch.... On any of my Valks...
