Airhead triple clamps

Toaster.Tan billet top brace which fits airheads from 1969-87 with telescopic forks. This will significantly improve handling and stability over the stock, thin piece of flat steel. It takes the flex out of the forks under loads. You WILL notice the difference in handling and feel more positive and planted on the front end.

Made of 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum and machined in the USA. It's a drop-on with no special tools. It also only has 25 lbs torque on the three top caps and eliminates the need for 70 lbs per spec. A better design and clamping system.

The three models pictured from top: /5 only,
/5-/6-/7, GS/GS-PD. The GS model has integral clamp on the ends for the signal pod stem.

See more photos at the weblink below.

Thanks for checking them out.

My apologies - I thought I had put it in VENDORS and am still figuring out the forum. I have been corrected and appreciate the feedback.

I've installed several of Stephen's clamps. Fabulous product, great workmanship, and a major improvement in feel and feedback IMHO.

Glad to see you back around, Toaster Tan!

Another VERY happy repeat customer of this product.

I put one of these on my 1982 R100RT based sidecar rig with the stock front forks, and it stiffened up the front end so much that it was like adding power steering!!!

It eliminated the "wind-up" of the forks while cornering hard and allowed direct feedback from the front tire.

(sorry for the poor image quality...)

-----

I also had one of these braces installed on my last Monolever Airheads and that bike was very stable/planted when rockin' the twisties.

{should add that the Monolever braces were a special run, and he may not have any of these left...}

-----

Quality stuff, lots of bling factor, and does what it is supposed to do in spades.

What more could you ask for???

TT Top brace run

I finished a run of the /6-7 Standard brace and just started a new run of /5 braces. After that is complete in a few days I will run the Mono and GS. I can still add to the orders with my machinist if anyone is interested.

R100RS fork tube brace

I've had one on my 1983 R100RS for a few years. It is a significant improvement as compared to the wimpy OEM piece.

BB81 -
I just picked up the second batch of Standard braces that fit that bike. I also had one polished so it looks like chrome and am going to offer that as an option. If you're interested, ping me off the forum at Toaster.Tan@gorvw.net

I tried to take a couple quick photos, but the metal is like a mirror and reflects everything around it!
For some reason I can't post the image.

Stephen
