Texas 2 Alaska 10,000 miles to end slavery

On June 15th of this year, I will leave on a 10,000 mile solo motorcycle trip from Galveston Bay to Alaska, and back. The impetus behind this trip is to raise funds to combat Human Trafficking and Modern Day Slavery in the United States and around the globe. My goal this year is to raise $27,000.00 for the Polaris Project, Houston's Redeemed Ministries, and International Justice MIssion (IJM) which are non-profits engaged in spreading awareness about slavery and human trafficking. They also work closely with local organizations in rescuing victims, along with sheltering and education initiatives that allow them to rebuild their lives.
Please consider contributing to this goal as I seek to turn what is otherwise a self centered interest, into a humanitarian endeavor.
Not a single penny of the funds collected go to pay for the ride. All donations are processed through the beneficiary organizations sites. I collect donor information to be able to thank and acknowledge their support.
